Sara Stewart is the art director at Foreign Policy, where she works across the editorial and business teams on long-form visual storytelling, data visualization, brand identity, and site design. She came to FP from Winsight Media, where she was the creative director for a group of trade publications focused on the food service industry. Stewart was previously the design director for the Chicago Tribune’s RedEye and spent the first part of her career designing for a number of daily newspapers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is based in Michigan.
