Does this recipe need added sugar?

I just talked with César and he says, "It can be made without added sugar, however, while cream of Coconut does have a good amount of sugar, I found the recipe still needed a little bit of help. The end result is still not too sweet and definitely less sweet than the ones you'd find at the cart."
