East span

Suspension portion of the eastern span of the Oakland San Francisco Bay Bridge. The original span is in the final stages of being dismanteled after the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake that broke a section of the span and nearly caused its collapse. The new span was completed a few years ago as a center-anchored suspension bridge.
