A sleeping beauty (Explored)

As you might all know, the lower the elevation of sun, the higher you see the rainbow, and vice versa. And for a rainbow to form, there must be enough water particles in the air, and when sunlight hits them, light gets dispersed forming a rainbow.

 

This was an unusual sight when an overhead sun produced a rainbow, thanks to the ground-hugging moisture on a rare wet day in the deserts of California, forming a rainbow that was almost resting on the ground.
