As a part-time account manager I met with startups in the program to check how the team had progressed and what are the next were. Several of these startups were able to raise funding after the program. To date, startups that have gone through the program have accumulated revenue of 10M+. Additionally, I helped organize various events e.g. Demo Day of 2017 where startups pitched after the summer program.
I helped startups understand their numbers and business landscape. Growth and product-market fit metrics is something you should definitely come and talk to me about. -

Twitter team 2017
Slush
I was part of the Twitter volunteer team covering the live Tweeting of #Slush17 with the @SlushHQ account. I tweeted the #Slush100 pitches due to my interest in startups and skills to quickly catch both technical and business parts of a pitch.
In 3 days, I tweeted 300+ tweets and got to know 100 startups, while the team achieved 2M+ impressions and 50M+ reach. During the main programme days, #Slush17 was trending worldwide (top 3 place). -

Peoplewithbudgets.com
In July 2017, I had some time to mess around with Django web development framework and built peoplewithbudgets.com. Besides learning basics of Django, I dabbled into graphic design (See how the logo with the word "people" forms a face?).
The site mostly has the front-end and no app (I quickly discovered that Django is not the best framework for single-page apps). Registration and login work sufficiently but don't expect to find anything functional after that. The site mostly has the front-end and no app (I quickly discovered that Django is not the best framework for single-page apps). Registration and login work sufficiently but don't expect to find anything functional after that. The site is deployed using Heroku.
The purpose of the app would have been a budgeting tool with ecommerce integrations so that you can conveniently purchase everything on budget or conversely get suggestions about products to be included in your budget. This would shift the influence point in the customer purchase path (customer journey) from search and discovery to awareness which should be more effective (being aware of a need and adding it to a budget would be the equivalent of adding a product to a shopping cart). -
VES Consulting - Voneax/DoingWhat
-
VES Consulting is a part of Vaasa Entrepreneur Society (VES). It offers students the possibility to get consulting experience through real life cases.
DoingWhat is an app for busy people, who want to go offline with style.
Our three member team developed a marketing strategy for the management team, while also giving product development advice that could offer increased customer value. We based our recommendations both on qualitative and quantitative market research.Other creatorsSee project -
Windows Phone Hackathon
-
We put together a team of four members and took part in a 24-hour hackathon organized by EBEC Helsinki. Our task was to create a working Windows Phone application prototype in 24 hours using Visual C#.
Results: our team finished second in the competition with an app aimed to cure bad habits.
My tasks were similar to a product manager/designer, taking care of the overall product experience and visuals (WP has a very specific style guide).Other creators
