What are the steps to define AI project scope and deliverables?
Remember to consider the need and benefits of using APIs as part of your AI solution or offering your solution as APIs. Often a "point-of-solution" API offering easy access to teach the ML or use the algorithms is key to success and scaling. Remember, though, that it may be possible to steal an algorithm or model via an API, so protect your API and model. Keep the scope minimal and have a clear value prop for each APIfied AI "skill", and you and your API / AI consumers will be able to easily orchestrate new solutions based on these APIs.

What are the steps to define AI project scope and deliverables?
Many times I've seen the decision to use AI be made before deciding what is the business vision and the right tool to use. Also, suppose there is data, and how biased, old, or otherwise problematic. In that case, the data is - i.e. is the problem possible to solve at all, or with the seemingly abundant (but in reality skewed and flawed) data? In my experience, we have been the most successful in client cases, where clients have allowed us to reimagine and challenge the limits of the organization's future and function by first analyzing what problems the data, algorithms and computing power available make possible to achieve. When starting with a problem, the business problem must be re-thought and validated before considering the solution.
