🔁🦾 A repost from Savon Automaatio Oy ✌ In one of our latest posts, we mentioned that we've made some improvements in our part manufacturing; Savon Automaatio has been a significant partner in that project. They are in the process of implementing three robot cells with ABB robots for our part manufacturing, which improves our machining operations and strengthens our internal capabilities. Two of the robot cells are now finalized and the last one will be in full operation later in the fall. #hydrauliccylinder #hydraulics #manufacturer

🚀 LEAN principles in practice at our manufacturing 🏭 As we told in our previous post, we have achieved and maintained excellent delivery accuracy throughout 2023 and have continued on that same path. It is no accident; it is all about following the LEAN principles and our own Hydroline Production System (HPS) 🔄 🦾 One of the latest upgrades we have made, is the setup of a new part manufacturing cell, that was created with one of our lathe machines and an old robot that had been left unused. The robot was previously part of a project that is now finalized, and we were able to prepare the robot for a new mission! 💎 The change improves multi-machine operation in our part manufacturing: we have robots that load the raw material pieces onto the lathes, and in addition to that, the cell has also one manually operated lathe. In the past, this particular same cell operated in a very similar way but without automation, as previously the cells in our part manufacturing have been operated with only manual input. Compared to the previous setup, the new, improved setup makes the production process much more efficient and brings significant benefits to the efficiency of the part manufacturing process. ✨ By focusing on LEAN principles, we continuously strive to create more value for not only our customers, but to simplify and enhance our internal operations. This approach has allowed us to reduce our lead times, lower the operating costs, and improve our product quality, which have led to, for example, our excellent delivery accuracy, increased customer satisfaction and greater flexibility in our manufacturing processes. #leanmanufacturing #hydraulics #smarthydraulics

What a way to kick off the first days of the official summer months! ☀ As we stepped into June and looked back at this year, we cannot help but be so very proud of our whole team. In last year’s customer satisfaction survey, we received a lot of positive feedback on our improved delivery accuracy throughout 2023. We are happy to tell you that we have successfully continued on this path during the first months of 2024 as well! 💙 💎 This is a testament to our team’s dedication and hard work. We have had some struggles in the past, but we have never let them bring us down. Instead, we have carefully analyzed our processes, learned from our mistakes, and fixed the issues. It has not happened overnight, and if you have been following us long enough, you might have a good idea of what has been happening inside our factories. Not all of the changes have been major; some have been mere fine-tuning of well-functioning things, but in the bigger picture, they all matter. 🏭 One of the latest changes we made in Vuorela during the first months of this year was done in our part manufacturing. Today, we had the joy of welcoming a large group of people from Savon Voima Oyj to visit our Vuorela factory 🤩 Throughout the past winter and spring, we have been talking about our roadmap towards an energy efficient smart factory, and it was so great to get to share our plans and goals with the experts of electricity ⚡️ We, of course, took the group for a little factory tour too 🏭 The imprtance of extensive cooperation between different organizations and industries has emphasized a lot in recent years. Whereas just a few years ago the overall relationship between energy companies and other operators like us was very strongly only of the seller-buyer type, today the relationship is built much more around cooperation and willingness to look for new solutions together.
