New Uniforms for Parking Enforcement Officials

Your neighborhood Fairfax County Parking Enforcement team will be switching uniforms in August. The new uniform will be visibly different from uniforms worn by sworn police personnel and will allow the public to easily distinguish parking enforcement officials from police officers. Revisions for the new parking enforcement uniform will replace the current navy blue utility shirt with a light blue polo-style shirt displaying the county seal on the front and “PARKING” imprinted across the back. Although the uniforms are changing, status and authority of parking enforcement officials will remain the same.
