Birth, Foster & Kinship Nurturing Programs

This program is designed specifically to support birth families and their foster or kinship families as they work through the placement experience. It brings all parents—and the children they share—together for 12 weekly sessions.

Special emphasis is placed on improving communication and increasing empathy among all family members and prioritizing the needs of the child or children involved. 

FNC coordinates or supports several Birth, Foster & Kinship Nurturing Programs with DCF area offices each year.
