A statement from our Executive Director, Bishop Dwayne Royster on President Biden’s ending his candidancy for re-election.

“Following President Joe Biden’s announcement this afternoon that he is ending his candidacy for re-election, I am writing you to share that we at Faith in Action thank President Biden for his lifetime of service and affirm our steadfast focus on ensuring that all voters, especially Black and Brown voters, who are all-too-often ignored and taken for granted, can — and do — vote this November.”
On the 10th anniversary of Eric Garner's murder, we hold close to the grief we feel as well as the urgency to fight for the safety of all our community members as well as police accountability.

As people of faith, we also understand that breath is holy and sacred and how unbelievably unjust it is for it to be taken away in such an indignant way. We join Eric Garner's family and loved ones in their grief and remembrance of such a beloved father, son, and friend.
