ABOUT FAIRCAP

Percent of all water in the world is drinkable
Billion people without clean water
Million Deaths from contaminated water
Billion infected people every year

Over 1.8 million people die every year from drinking contaminated water and 4 billion disease cases are reported causing a huge negative health and economic impact. Water sources are becoming scarce and being contaminated more and more not only with bacteria but also with chemical residues. Even in rich countries the public’s trust in tap water has been affected,  increasing the consumption and disposal of plastic bottles.

Imagine if you could get a portable tiny  filter that could be screwed into any plastic bottle and allow you to safely drink water from the tap, from a stream, from a lake, from a water pond? Imagine if it would cost just $1?

We started with a vision to 3D print water filters anywhere in the world. Although 3D printing technology is still not there yet to produce high precision, fast, long lasting, low cost objects, 3D printing was a indispensible prototyping tool. After two years working in the design, tooling and molding we are now making the Faircap filters in large volumes using a tested 0.1 micron pore membrane technology to get rid of 99.99% of bacteria like e.Coli

Open Collaboration

You can order now on Amazon Prime and participate in our Buy 1 / Give 1 program. You will receive a Faircap Mini filter and you will donate a Faircap Family filter for Jerrycans to an NGO. Please help us achieve this goal!
