Farm Workers Relief Payment

Farm employees that worked on a farm during the pandemic may be eligible for additional compensation.

Organizations around the country are administering funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm and Food Workers Relief Program (FFWR) for farm workers who were employed between January 27, 2020 and May 11, 2023 at a farm or processing facility doing certain farm tasks deemed necessary to keep food on tables. Eligible farm workers include field workers, livestock workers, and meatpacking workers. Workers may be eligible for up to $600. To find out more about eligibility, workers will need to contact a local administering organization including the following for Pennsylvania:

*Assistance with applications is free, avoid fraud and do not give personal information to organizations other than those listed to assist on the FFWR Website.

Documentation needed include a photo ID and proof of employment. Funds are available until exhausted or October 2024. Applications are currently being accepted.
