ACAP Prevailing Wage Frequently Asked Questions and Flow Chart

Two new resources have been approved that will assist landowners and conservation professionals to navigate prevailing wage requirements as they are applied under the Agricultural Conservation Assistance Program (ACAP).

Projects funded in part or wholly through the ACAP program are subject to prevailing wage requirements. A frequently asked questions document and flow chart were developed to help conservation professionals and program participants understand these requirements. The information provided in the documents is to help ACAP grant recipients understand how the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act affects ACAP Projects and is not an official determination on whether or not Prevailing Wage applies to a specific project. If an ACAP grant recipient has any questions about whether Prevailing Wage applies to a specific project, they should contact the PA Department of Labor and Industry for an official determination.

Both of these new resources can be found on the CACAT website under the ACAP Documents for Conservation Districts link.  For additional assistance contact CACAT staff or your local conservation district.
