He's the captain (of America) now.

Tom Hanks is lending his star power to the already star-studded inauguration activities Wednesday, as he hosts Celebrating America.

The 90-minute prime-time inauguration special, which you can view below starting at 8:30 p.m. ET, "will feature remarks from President Biden and Vice President Harris and include remarks and performances that represent the rich diversity and extensive talent America offers," according to the official inauguration schedule. The event will feature performances and appearances from Ant Clemons, Jon Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, John Legend, Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Katy Perry, and Kerry Washington.

Celebrating America caps a day of inauguration celebrations honoring the official swearing-in of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Earlier in the day, Lady Gaga performed a powerful rendition of the national anthem. Following Gaga's performance, Jennifer Lopez sang "This Land Is Your Land," offered a message to viewers in Spanish, and incorporated lyrics from her hit single "Let's Get Loud" to end the song. Garth Brooks concluded with his take on "Amazing Grace."

Celebrating America will also air live on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC and PBS, and will be streamed on the Inaugural Committee's social feeds on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch.
