Joy Behar admits she doesn't know who Sophie Turner is after discussing Joe Jonas divorce on The View

Behar hilariously tried to "extrapolate" the Hot Topic about the Game of Thrones star's split with Jonas before moderator Whoopi Goldberg intervened.

The View's comedy queen has had no royal dealings with the Queen of the North.

After discussing Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner's divorce from musician Joe Jonas — and her recent outing with Taylor Swift, another of Jonas' exes — on Wednesday's episode of the show, Joy Behar admitted on its follow-up podcast, Behind the Table, that she actually isn't familiar with the actress.

"I wasn't that interested in the specific celebrity thing that was going on. I don't even really know who Sophie Turner is," Behar told The View's executive producer Brian Teta at the top of the podcast (above).

The 80-year-old cohost also revealed that she'd never watched Game of Thrones, but again praised Turner's pal Swift for consistently encouraging her younger fanbase to vote, after shouting out the "Cruel Summer" singer's mission on The View's live broadcast.

Elsewhere in the conversation about Turner and Jonas' separation, Behar hilariously attempted to reroute Hot Topics into more familiar political territory — but not for long, as moderator Whoopi Goldberg quickly got her back on track.

"It's entirely normal for friendships to be based on mutual hatred. Think about it," Behar said after her cohosts informed her that Swift had also been romantically involved with Jonas. "I think that the MAGA crowd, the base, they hate the same people that Trump hates... that's the whole basis of their success with Trump. They don't care that they're not going to get abortion rights."

As the audience chuckled, Goldberg cut in, asking, "But what about Sophie? What about Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift?"

To which Behar replied, "Who cares about them? I'm more interested in this."

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/PT on ABC, followed by new episodes of Behind the Table on podcast platforms every afternoon.
