Welcome to Godless

Netflix has rustled up its first original limited series — and it's a seven-part western. Created by Steven Soderbergh and Scott Frank, Godless unspools the tale of an infamous criminal named Frank Griffin (Jeff Daniels), whose murderous gang of outlaws are hell-bent on revenge against Roy Goode (Jack O’Connell), a "son-like protege who betrayed the brotherhood." The on-the-lam Roy retreats to a New Mexico mining town governed largely by women, where he meets widower and fellow outcast Alice Fletcher (Michelle Dockery), and where there will be a showdown with Griffin and his men.
