Watch Scott Foley attempt to woo former Scandal costar Bellamy Young on Whiskey Cavalier

Will Chase might be a hopeless romantic, but when it comes to wooing his mark, things don’t exactly go as planned.

In the exclusive clip above from this week’s Whiskey Cavalier, Will Chase (Scott Foley) attempts to win over Karen Pappas (Bellamy Young), the widow of a nefarious Greek shipping magnate. Young reunites with her Scandal costar for this episode where Will must seduce her to try to get a list of criminal clients that belonged to her late husband.

The ABC series debuted last week, and Young’s March 6 appearance marks the second episode of the new dramedy. It follows Foley’s Will Chase, code name: Whiskey Cavalier, an FBI agent who finds himself in a love-hate relationship when circumstances force him to team up with mysterious CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan).

Titled “The Czech List,” the episode follows the newly formed Whiskey team on their first official mission in Prague. Will must seduce the widow of a late shipping tycoon in an effort to access a list of criminal clients, but Frankie is less than convinced about his seduction abilities when it comes to a grieving woman.

The clip finds Will on the job in Prague. There, he feeds Young’s Karen a line about being a University of Newfoundland professor and flubs the name of a poet as he tries to pass himself off as an expert in Eastern European literature.

Karen is not impressed, but at the direction of Frankie and the rest of his team, Will turns the conversation back on to her and learns that she has a photographic memory. Something that might be very useful when it comes to tracking down a list of criminals, no?

With this twist of charm and the smile Frankie asserts he “thinks is so charming,” Will succeeds, managing to plan a dinner date for later that evening.
