Office pranks never die!

On Tuesday’s episode of Busy Tonight, host Busy Philipps surprised guest Jenna Fischer with gifts to unbox (apparently she’s a fan of opening packages) from her old The Office costars. Things started off small, but sweet, with Philipps giving the Splitting Up Together actress a box of raisin crips from Ellie Kemper (who played Erin on the show). “During an episode they had these on set and she and I ate about four boxes of them.”

Next up she unparceled a T-shirt with a loaf of bread on it from bestie Angela Kinsey and a banjo from Ed Helms, because of course. “Creed (Bratton) played guitar and Ed played banjo and they would play during lunch,” shared Fischer. The next box was on the large side and when Fischer opened it, out popped Steve Carell! Classic Micheal Scott, honestly. The former co-stars hugged as Fischer, who was genuinely terrified for a moment, tried to regain her composure.

During an interview segment later in the show, Carell revealed that he’d been hiding in the box for the duration of the live taping but felt so comfortable with it that he’d be “appearing in boxes all over L.A.” in the future — something to look forward to!
