Brooklyn Nine-Nine: See a scene from Gina's farewell episode

It’s time to say goodbye to Gina Linetti — at least for a while.

Thursday’s episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine marks the last installment of the NBC cop comedy featuring Chelsea Peretti as a regular cast member: After five and a quarter seasons, she is moving on from the precinct. Before her civilian administrator, who excels in self-esteem and insults of Amy (Melissa Fumero), moves on to making millions elsewhere, Jake (Andy Samberg) and the gang want to throw her a farewell party to remember.

In this first-look clip from the episode — which is titled “Four Movements” and finds Gina giving a “Gina moment” to each member of the squad — Jake and Gina explain to Terry (Terry Crews) that this party needs to be splashy. “Would you jump into a pool without water?” Gina tells Terry, “No. The splash is what keeps you alive. Splash is life.” Meanwhile, Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) has his own sopping lame ideas that the group is sure to reject.

How about a celebrity guest to grace the festivities? Jake pitches “the guy who shot that video of that rat smoking a vape pen,” but Gina is thinking bigger, natch: “Can we get the rat?”

As hinted above, the human form of the 100 emoji will indeed return later this season. In fact, Peretti has already tweeted a photo from her return episode, which is directed by Fumero, so know that you’ll have at least one more floorgasm down the road.

Check out a gag from Gina’s goodbye, and tune in to the full farewell Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET.
