One Tree Hill stars post reunion photos from new mystery project

EARLIER: Christmas has come early for One Tree Hill fans.

Former series stars Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer), Danneel Ackles (Rachel Gatina), Robert Buckley (Clay Evans), and Antwon Tanner (Antwon “Skills” Taylor) all recently shared photos on social media from the set of what Tanner called a “new project.” As he wrote, “On set working with some oldies but goodies.” Each actor’s post involved a photo and the hashtag #christmas2018, though that’s about all we know right now.

One Tree Hill ran from 2003 to 2012 on the WB — which then became the CW — and told the story of Tree Hill, a fictional small town in North Carolina. What began as a story about two half-brothers turned into something much larger. And as the cast continued to grow, so did the fandom. Now, the question is: What do these photos mean for that fandom?
