Castle fans still missing Det. Kate Beckett are about to be very happy: Stana Katic is going back into law enforcement.

The actress will star and serve as an executive producer in Absentia, a forthcoming thriller series that will debut exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in the United States, the streamer announced Wednesday morning.

Katic will portray FBI agent Emily Byrne, who mysteriously disappears and is declared dead while hunting one of Boston’s most notorious serial killers. Six years later, she is found in a cabin the woods barely alive and with no memory of the years in which she was presumed dead.

À la Cast Away, Byrne returns home to find that her spouse, fellow FBI agent Nick Byrne (Patrick Heusinger, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back) has remarried. Her son is also being raised by another woman now. Before long, she finds herself wrapped up in a new series of murders.

Additional cast members include Cara Theobold (Downton Abbey), Neil Jackson (Sleepy Hollow), Angel Bonanni (False Flag), Richard Brake (Game of Thrones), Ralph Ineson (Game of Thrones), Paul Freeman (The Dogs of War), Bruno Bichir (Narcos), and Patrick McAuley (The Conjuring 2).

A specific date is yet to be announced, but the show is slated to premiere on Amazon in 2018.
