This Is Us, The Good Place get winter premiere dates

It’s almost time for the holidays, which for TV fans means the barren wasteland of breaks for their favorite shows.

But NBC has an early present for fans — January premiere dates.

This Is Us returns to television early in the new year in its normal time slot at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2. The show will pick up after a trilogy of episodes dedicated to each of the “Big Three.”

Other NBC favorite The Good Place returns that same week on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 8:30 p.m. ahead of the return of Will & Grace at 9 p.m.

Taken, based on the hit Liam Neeson franchise,returns for its season 2 premiere on Friday, Jan. 12 at 9 p.m.
