Scott Foley and Guillermo Diaz are getting into their own scandals, sans Kerry Washington and company.

The Scandal costars, who portray lovable assassins on the ABC drama, take on different deadly roles in a pair of new Investigation Discovery (ID) movies. In exclusive clips from each, the actors channel real-life notorious killers.

Premiering Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. ET, Dating Game Killer stars Diaz as serial killer Rodney Alcala, who appeared on The Dating Game in 1978 amidst his murder spree. Alcala’s victim count is unknown, but it’s believed it could have been more than 100 women and children. Carrie Preston (The Good Wife) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break) also star. Debuting one week later on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET is Final Vision, which stars Foley as Jeffrey MacDonald, a doctor and Green Beret who was convicted of brutally murdering his pregnant wife and two children. The film is presented through the point of view of Joe McGinniss (Dave Annable), a best-selling author MacDonald approached to write a book about his situation.

ID will take a deeper dive into Alcala with The True Story of the Dating Game Killer following that movie’s premiere, starting at 10 p.m. ET. The network will also further examine MacDonald’s life with an enhanced encore of Jeffrey MacDonald: PEOPLE Magazine Investigates at 10 p.m. ET following the Final Vision debut.
