Scandal celebrates 6 seasons of gladiators in new trailer

“Are we gladiators or are we bitches?”

Fans of Scandal, which is about to embark on its final season, certainly know the answer to that!

In this new trailer that kicks off the drama’s seventh and final season, fans are reintroduced to what drives Kerry Washington’s Olivia Pope (Jimmy Kimmel says she “survives on wine, popcorn, and sex with the president of the United States”). And celebrity viewers like Kobe Bryant, CNN’s Don Lemon, Jessica Simpson, and Ava DuVernay get a chance to thank Shonda Rhimes for all the delicious madness.

(But seriously, aren’t we due at least one episode that explains how Olivia got the red wine stain out of her white couch?)

The final season of Scandal begins Thursday, Oct. 5, on ABC.
