The much-anticipated third season of animated science fiction show Rick and Morty will premiere on Adult Swim on July 30 at 11:30 p.m. ET. Co-creators Justin Roiland and producer Dan Harmon made the announcement during a live-stream Thursday night. “The premiere is Sunday, July 30, almost the latest day in the month,” said Roiland. “Yeah, we did it, we pulled it off. We pulled it off. We f—in’ did it. Guys, right on time! Right on time!”

In fact, fans have been waiting quite a while for the show’s third season, with season 2 wrapping back in October 2015, although a new episode, “The Rickshank Redemption,” unexpectedly screened on April 1 of this year.

On June 24, Harmon posted a “hungover thread” on Twitter denying rumors that the long gap had been caused by arguments between himself and Roiland. “As I speak, more articles are coming out about me and Justin fighting,” the Community creator wrote. “Because it’s a less boring reason for a season to take long, and because I’m Dan Harmon, so it’s a smart f—ing first guess, it just happens to be hilariously not true even in the slightest.”

Roiland and Harmon also screened a trailer for season 3, which you can watch above.
