Nashville midseason trailer: Could this be the end for Gunnar?

Rayna Jaymes might be gone, but there’s still plenty of drama to sing about in Nashville.

When the show returns on June 1, things will pick up 10 weeks after the midseason finale, and from the looks of it, some characters are dealing with the post-Rayna world better than others. Maddie’s career is heading in the right direction while her sister, Daphne, gets in with the wrong crowd. Then there’s Juliette, who’s struggling to make her comeback as an artist, and Will, who’s not sure he can trust his new boyfriend.

Based on the new midseason trailer, the show will tackle some tough issues when it returns, including racial profiling in law enforcement.

And then there’s Scarlett, who’s still unsure of who her baby’s father is, although, based on the final moments of the trailer, she may have even bigger things to worry about when Gunnar finds himself with a gun to his head. Watch the full trailer above.
