Check out the red-nosed new poster for Love Actually's short-film sequel

You’ve probably heard by now that the 2003 rom-com treasure has been resurrected as a short-film sequel. Titled Red Nose Day Actually, the 15-minute movie will air as a part of NBC’s fundraiser Red Nose Day on May 25.

Red Nose Day is an offshoot of Comic Relief, which was founded more than 30 years ago by Love Actually‘s writer-director Richard Curtis. The organization has raised more than a billion dollars to help fight poverty and address social issues around the world.

EW can exclusively share with fans this new poster (below), in celebration of the reunion.

Those who remember the film’s original marketing will notice what they did there.

“It’s so gorgeous to be able to recreate the poster 14 years later,” Curtis tells EW, “swapping the snow on the original for Red Noses this time, and with everyone looking only a tiny bit older — apart from Hugh Grant of course.”

A huge jamboree in the UK, the American edition of Red Nose Day is now in its third year, and Curtis says he has high hopes for the event. “It’s easy to take part — you can buy a red nose for $1 or get sponsored to do something funny, like impersonate Liam Neeson or wear turtlenecks every day for a week,” he says. “And people can still enter our Love Actually Omaze sweepstake for a chance to be flown to London for a hug from Andrew Lincoln and have tea with Keira Knightley.”

This year’s Red Nose Day on NBC will also be preceded by a Ninja Warriors celebrity special and Julia Roberts surviving in the wild on Bear Grylls. The Love Actually short film will air sometime after the charity drive, hosted by Chris Hardwick, begins at 10 p.m. ET. (Check here for more details.) Look closely at the poster credits at the bottom and see if you can spot one of the rare fresh names to the Love Actually universe.

“It’s been delightful to revisit the characters from Love Actually and see the cast,” Curtis remarks. “But it’s even more special because it’s all to raise money for Red Nose Day.”
