The drama that goes down inside the RuPaul's Drag Race work room often rivals the catty squabbles that echoed throughout the halls of West Beverly Hills High on Beverly Hills, 90210. On Friday's episode of the reality competition series, the contestants are putting their own spin on the classic show while channeling their best Donna Martin in a hilarious, dragified performance of a parody pilot appropriately titled Beverly Hills, 9021-Ho.

In EW's exclusive first look at this week's episode, Mama Ru — at the head of the judging panel — presents the results of this week's challenge to former Beverly Hills 90210 stars (and special guest judges) Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth, who additionally provided direction to the queens on the set of the satire. Each queen was tasked with playing a version of a character that originally appeared on 90210, with a comedic (in this case: comically boozy, floozy, and everything in between) twist. <iframe src="//media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgid:arc:video:logotv.com:1e28355e-c048-40ec-a754-8d1564c7657b" width="600" height="338" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="" scrolling="no" resize="0" replace_attributes="1" name=""></iframe>w]qíøíÞ[íÎ{ãn[ë¶Ûí¾Þß®ùãšßvø

The clip begins with an audio cue that calls back to the iconic 90210 theme, and the 9021-Ho stars pose together in front of a stark white backdrop and individually against a '90s-inspired background (in a stony shade of blue, of course).

The sequence mirrors the memorable intro of 90210‘s third season, which also saw its cast (including Spelling, Garth, Jason Priestly, Shannen Doherty, and Luke Perry) mugging for tighter shots against similarly colored backgrounds.

See how well Beverly Hills, 9021-Ho captures the spirit of the original when RuPaul's Drag Race airs this Friday at 8 p.m. ET on VH1. Check out EW's exclusive first look at this week's episode above.
