The Simpsons voice actress stuns 13-year-old boy with Bart 'impression'

One would hope the woman who voices Bart on the show would have a great 'impression.'

A 13-year-old middle schooler got the surprise of his life while selling chocolate bars for a school fundraiser. The student ran into Nancy Cartwright, who impressed him with her Bart Simpson "impression." It was even more shocking when he later realized she's actually the voice actress behind the character on The Simpsons.

"Do you know who the voices [are] on that show?" Cartwright asked before sliding into Bart's voice, as shown in video from the interaction, above. "Well, shake my hand 'cause…" she said before the astonished teen's jaw dropped.

Not only did Cartwright purchase 10 chocolate bars, she also gave him a hug and "proof" of their meeting with an autograph. "I don't know who was more excited, him or me, I swear," she said as she drove away. "I'm just so lucky, so, so lucky."

"Awe, James and I went 'viral' on Facebook," Cartwright tweeted. "Having such fun reading all of your comments! Thanks for all the support guys! Cowabunga!" She added on Instagram, "Hope you enjoy James' reaction as much as I did."
