Felicity Huffman surprises Peter Krause in mini Sports Night reunion

Someone jumping out of a closet to greet you sounds like the beginning of a clichéd horror movie, and certainly not a sweet reunion.

But Felicity Huffman did just that to Peter Krause, with whom she starred on the short-lived Aaron Sorkin ABC series Sports Night, backstage Friday morning at LIVE with Kelly.

Huffman shared the sweet moment on Twitter with a video showing her successfully surprising Krause, who responded with an excited, “Oh my God!” and a joyful hug.

“Look who I found backstage at @LiveKelly!” Huffman wrote. “Met up with Peter Krause for the first time in years! Thought I’d surprise him.”

Sports Night ran from 1998 to 2000 for two seasons. The series found Krause and Josh Charles’ characters anchoring a fictional cable sports program. Huffman starred alongside them as the show’s executive producer.

Both actors are currently starring in ABC series, with Huffman on American Crime and Krause on Catch.
