This Is Us cast celebrates Sterling K. Brown's first Oscar nomination: 'You deserve it all'

Brown earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his role in "American Fiction."

This Is Us may be over, but the family love lives on.

The cast of the hit NBC show — which aired its final episode in 2022 — is celebrating one of its own, Sterling K. Brown, for his first Oscar nomination on Tuesday. Brown, who played Randall Pearson on the series, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his turn in American Fiction.

His onscreen adoptive mother Rebecca, played by Mandy Moore, shared her congrats in a story on her Instagram, writing, "What a day!! Congrats and Love you, @sterlingkbrown. You deserve it all!!!"

Chrissy Metz, who played Brown's adoptive sister Kate, also shared a screengrab of the nomination, tagging the actor and writing, "Congratulations!" Chris Sullivan, who played Kate's first husband, Toby, shared a video of Brown's reaction to his nomination, writing in the caption, "SKB! Win em all! Congratulations buddy!"

And his onscreen wife Susan Kelechi Watson, who played Beth, also had similar sentiments, hilariously writing in an Instagram post, "Academy Award Nominee, @SterlingKBrown!!! End of post."

Brown's film had a banner day, receiving a total of five Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. Also nominated in Best Supporting Actor this year are Robert De Niro in Killers of the Flower Moon, Robert Downey Jr. in Oppenheimer, Ryan Gosling in Barbie, and Mark Ruffalo in Poor Things.
