Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse prepare for a hot hospital date in Five Feet Apart clip

Get the tissues ready, because Five Feet Apart is coming for your heartstrings.

In the new film from Jane the Virgin’s Justin Baldoni, Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse star as teens brought together by their battles with cystic fibrosis, which prevents them from physically touching (hence the title). Ahead of the March 15 release, EW has an exclusive clip of Stella (Richardson) and Will (Cole) preparing for a rendezvous in the hospital where they’re staying.

“Why didn’t I pack anything nice?” Stella says as she goes through her available clothes, to which her best friend Poe (Moises Arias) cracks, “Oh, ’cause you always pack for a hot hospital romance.”

Speaking to EW recently, Richardson talked about how much she enjoyed working with Sprouse. “I really didn’t know what to expect,” she said of the Riverdale star. “I never know what to expect meeting an actor; sometimes they’re great, sometimes they’re a little bit of a struggle. [Laughs] But Cole was great. I kind of overly care to a fault when preparing for roles, and it just becomes to a fault because it’s so extreme how much I care, and Cole is the same way. He really, really wanted to do justice to the cystic fibrosis community and the reality that these two people are in. That was more important to him than anything else.”
