The Predator trailer unleashes a new 'ultimate' weapon

Meet the new and improved "ultimate" Predator. It's bigger, badder, and way more deadly.

Twentieth Century Fox unleashed the beast in a new, bloody trailer for The Predator, directed by Shane Black and starring the likes of Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn, and Boyd Holbrook.

In the new reinvention of the franchise, a ship carrying the universe's most lethal hunters crash lands on earth when a young boy (Jacob Tremblay) accidentally triggers their return. It's nothing humanity was expecting. These creatures, who Brown's "acquisitions" expert says have "conquered space," have been experimenting. Using DNA from other species, they've been able to achieve genetic upgrades. Now it's up to a band of ex-soldiers and one science teacher to save the human race.

The Predator's new trailer and poster combo are not playing around. These movie monsters — including the Ultimate Predator that so easily ripped a regular Predator through a wall — are here to exterminate, so the preview is just as brutal on the eyes.

Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Keegan-Michael Key (Keanu), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Thomas Jane (The Expanse), Augusto Aguilera (Snowfall), Jake Busey (Stranger Things), and Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid's Tale) also star.
