How to watch the 2024 Oscar nominations

Who will win big at the 2024 Oscars? After months of campaigning and debating, awards watchers are about to have the biggest piece of that puzzle when the Oscar nominations are finally announced today at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT.

Last year, Everything Everywhere All at Once cleaned up nicely, winning seven Academy Awards out of the 11 it was nominated for. If this year's Golden Globes or Critics Choice Awards are anything to go by, Barbie, Oppenheimer, and Killers of the Flower Moon are some of the titles poised to have a nice Oscar nominations morning on Tuesday, but look out for The Holdovers and Poor Things to show up in key races, too.

When are the 2024 Oscar nominations?

As usual, the nominations will be revealed live (way too early) on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.

Where can I watch the 2024 Oscar nominations announcement?

The nominations announcement will be viewable via global livestream on Oscar.com, Oscars.org, and the Academy’s digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook), and national broadcast and streaming news programs, including ABC’s Good Morning America, ABC News Live, and Disney+. The announcement will also be streamed live right here at EW.com.

Who is announcing the 2024 Oscar nominations?

This year, the Academy has tapped actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid to reveal the nominees in each of the 23 categories. Last year, Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams teamed up for the early morning announcement duties.

When is the 2024 Oscars ceremony?

The 96th Oscars ceremony, hosted once again by Jimmy Kimmel, will take place on Sunday, March 10, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
