We could get used to living like this. After three seasons without major Emmy recognition — aside from perpetually nominated guest actress Margo Martindale, who won in 2015 — The Americans is finally getting noticed. For their work in season 4, Matthew Rhys is up for best drama actor, Keri Russell is up for best drama actress, the show is up for outstanding drama series, and Martindale has landed her fourth guest actress nomination in a row.

To say that Twitter is excited is an understatement.

As nominations rolled in for the FX spy drama, social media was flooded with reactions from fans — including Seth Meyers, who tweeted, “It’s a good day” — and cast members alike. (Actress Holly Taylor wrote, “MY MOM JUST SCREAMED IN PANERA!!”) EW rounded up some of the most joyful responses.
