This is the best possible kind of deja vu for Wynonna Earp fans.
At Comic-Con in 2016, Syfy announced the second season renewal for the supernatural Western horror series… and at Saturday’s panel, the network announced a third season slated to arrive in 2018.
Melanie Scrofano, who plays Wynonna, was joined on the Comic-Con panel by costars Shamier Anderson, Tim Rozon, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Katherine Barrell, Varun Saranga, Tamara Duarte, show creator Emily Andras, and comic book creator Beau Smith.
“We are so excited have this strong female-led, witty action series return for another season and deliver something special to our passionate fans around the world,” Andras said in a statement.
The show’s second season is currently airing, and Friday’s installment came with a huge reveal about Wynonna’s pregnancy. (Read about that here.) As for what’s to come, when the cast stopped by EW’s Comic-Con suite, Andras teased a bit of what to expect from the Ladies in Black.
“They’re pretty bad,” she said. “And they’re definitely going to be around. I think we’re just starting to see the extent of their badness…. They’re terrifying and determined.”
