While Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life may have somewhat settled a debate fans have been having for years now, it has also presented a fresh one for viewers to mull and argue over: Could Stars Hollow: The Musical truly do with a little re-writing or is it perfect as is?

As seen in the third episode of Netflix's revival, Taylor Doose (Michael Winters), along with some help from playwright Nat Compton (Eric Henry), pays tribute to Stars Hollow's history by penning a musical about the small, Connecticut town's history. Titled Stars Hollow: The Musical, not only does the show star actual Broadway stars Sutton Foster and Christian Borle as actors Violet and Carl, but it also references musical-turned-cultural-phenomenon Hamilton (among other things).

Unfortunately for Taylor's budding musical theater career, while almost every member of the advisory committee loved the historical homage, Lorelai (Lauren Graham), as well as a portion of the viewers at home, thought that it could use some work — if not extensive edits and rewrites.

But what about you? Are you Team Lorelai, or do you find that your views fit in more with the other members of the Stars Hollow: The Musical advisory committee?
