Captain America actor Chris Evans joined others in Hollywood Tuesday night expressing shock and disappointment at a potential win by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
“This is an embarrassing night for America,” the 35-year-old said on Twitter. “We’ve let a hatemonger lead our great nation. We’ve let a bully set our course. I’m devastated.”
Evans’ tweet follows a photo he tweeted earlier Tuesday of his “I Voted” sticker along with the #ImWithHer hashtag,
It’s not the first time the actor has expressed his disdain for Trump. Following the third presidential debate last month, Evans said Trump “displayed everything I expect out of a 5th grader,” while saying Clinton demonstrated “everything I expect out of the POTUS.”
