Gilmore Girls gets an ice cream flavor, and yes, there's coffee in it

The votes are in for a Gilmore Girls-inspired ice cream flavor.

Brooklyn-based Ample Hills Creamery held a contest to determine a new flavor celebrating the upcoming Netflix revival of the popular series, and announced the winner on Monday.

The flavor is named “They Scoop Gilmores, Don’t They?” — a reference to the pivotal season 3 episode, “They Shoot Gilmores, Don’t They?” which in itself is a reference to Horace McCoy’s novel about a dance marathon, They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?.

Appropriately, the ice cream combines coffee (of course), chocolate pudding (because Emily really tried), and snickerdoodles (as in, “Oy with the snickerdoodles already!“), topped, of course, with pink Pop-Tart sprinkles.

Don’t live in New York? Don’t worry; the flavor is available now for nationwide shipping.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life arrives on Netflix on Nov. 25.
