Stevie Nicks has announced a fall North American tour in support of her solo material.

The Pretenders will serve as the singer’s special guests for the 28-city run, which kicks off Oct. 25 in Phoenix, Arizona and closes Dec. 18 in Los Angeles.

The news comes nearly a year after Nicks wrapped a lengthy world trek with Fleetwood Mac, and two after she released 24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault, a collection of previously unearthed tracks penned mainly between 1969 and 1987. She’ll tour behind both that record and 2011’s In Your Dreams.

“I just woke up one morning and said I have two years off before Fleetwood Mac comes knocking on my door [for another tour],” she told the New York Times. “Why would I want to sit around and do nothing?”

She also spoke about the differences between gigging with a band and commanding a tour of her own.

“Fleetwood Mac is a team. When you’re on a team everybody has the same vote — except in this particular team Lindsey [Buckingham] has a little bit of a stronger vote than anybody else. I love being part of a team. We argue all the time, but we always have,” she explained. “In my band, there is no arguing. I am the boss. My solo career is probably the reason Fleetwood Mac is still together in 2016, because I was always happy to leave Fleetwood Mac, and I was always happy to come back, too.”
