Clint Eastwood’s latest directorial effort, Sully, is coming in for a landing at the 2016 Telluride Film Festival, as the long-running event announced its full lineup of films on Thursday.

Sully, a dramatization of the life of US Airways Flight 1549 pilot, Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who pulled off an emergency landing of his ill-fated jet on New York City’s Hudson River, saving the lives of more than 100 people on board, is set to have its world premiere at the festival’s 43rd edition. The film stars Tom Hanks as the titular character, while Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney, and Anna Gunn round out the supporting cast.

Also world-premiering in Telluride are the boxing drama Bleed for This, which stars Miles Teller as Vinny Pazineza, and Francois Ozon’s Frantz.

Fresh from critically-lauded debuts at the Venice Film Festival earlier this week, both Damien Chazelle’s La La Land, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, and Denis Villeneuve’s Amy Adams drama Arrival will have their North American premieres at Telluride. A special tribute event is planned for Adams. Casey Affleck, whose Manchester by the Sea is set for Telluride screenings, will also receive a tribute, as will director Pablo Lorrain, who’s showing his Neruda, a biopic following poet Pablo Neruda, at the festival.

Doug Nichol’s documentary California Typewriter, Werner Herzog’s nonfiction feature Into the Inferno, and John Scheinfeld’s biographical portrait on jazz icon John Coltrane, Chasing Trane, will hit Telluride as well.

The Telluride Film Festival, which began in 1974, traditionally doesn’t announce its full lineup until the day before the event’s commencement. On the fall awards season circuit, It is often the first stop for major films heading into the Oscar race.

Telluride 2016 runs from Sept. 2-5 in Colorado.
