Michelle Dockery is leaving the comfort of Downton Abbey for the barren west.

Netflix announced Monday that the former star of the late ITV/PBS series has been tapped to lead up Godless, an upcoming miniseries executive produced by Steven Soderbergh, Out of Sight writer Scott Frank, and Casey Silver.

Godless follows Frank Griffin (Jeff Daniels), the leader of a notorious gang that terrorizes towns across the West as he hunts Roy Goode (Jack O’Connell), who was once like a son to him and is now his mortal enemy, according to Netflix. While Roy hides out at Alice Fletcher’s (Dockery) ranch, Frank’s chase leads him to the particularly quiet town of La Belle, New Mexico, mysteriously made up entirely of women.

Dockery appeared on Downton throughout its entire six-season run. She’s set to star in TNT’s upcoming drama from Wayward Pines showrunner Chad Hodge, Good Behavior, out this fall.

Filming takes place in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with Frank writing and directing. Godless is slated to be released in 2017.
