Being the founder of Amazon has its perks. Billionaire CEO Jeff Bezos pops up in the credits for Star Trek Beyond, and director Justin Lin and producer J.J. Abrams confirmed his cameo appearance during the press rounds on Friday.

“He was awesome,” Lin said, according to the Associated Press. “It was like a president was visiting, you know? He had a big entourage! But it didn’t matter because he was so into it. He had to wait around all day because it was one day we were shooting like three different scenes and, it was also credit to Jeff because…he just nailed it every time.”

“I was there for the bit with his, like, nine bodyguards and three limos. It was really intense,” actor Chris Pine remarked. “I had no idea who he was. Not a clue. But he was obviously very important.”

Bezos, a self-proclaimed Trek fan, appears in a single tracking shot in Beyond and is listed in the credits as a “Starfleet Official.”

The CEO said during the Washing Post-sponsored Transformers technology conference that Star Trek inspired Amazon’s robotic voice-recognition assistant, Alexa/Echo. “Our vision was, in the long-term, it would become the Star Trek computer,” he explained. “You could ask it anything, and ask it to do things for you — ask it to find things for you — and it would be easy to converse with, in a very natural way.”

Bezos will be seen on screen among a cast of Zachary Quinto, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, and more when the film debuts July 22.
