The Good Wife finale poll: Did Alicia get a proper send-off?

Spoiler alert: This post contains plot points from the May 8 series finale of The Good Wife.

Seven seasons ago, The Good Wife introduced Alicia Florrick as the woman who quite literally stood by her husband in the worst of times. And in the series finale, she was once again asked to support Peter in the face of his latest legal situation. Only this time, she cut her duties short in order to run after Jason, the man she finally realized she wanted to be with.

The twist? Jason wasn't there. So without Peter or Jason by her side, Alicia was left to face Diane on her own. To give you a bit of background: Diane was mad at Alicia because Alicia and Lucca had teamed up to make Kurt, Diane's husband, look like an untrustworthy witness on the stand, and how they went about doing that involved accusing Kurt of having an affair. Alicia hadn't seen Diane since she'd stormed out of the courtroom that day, and when she finally had to face her alone in the hallway, Diane slapped her across the face.

So, wiping tears from her eyes and straightening up her blazer, Alicia once again marched on. And with Alicia walking down an empty hallway, the camera faded to black.

There was no real conclusion to Alicia's story with Jason — last we saw she left him a voicemail asking him to call her back. Peter accepted a plea deal for one-year probation, so he won't be going to jail. The only story that seemed to get a sense of conclusion was Alicia's love story with Will, in which she told him — or her imagining of him — that she will always love him.

And then it all ended. Does the slap mean Diane and Alicia's all-female firm is a thing of the past? Will Alicia go through with her divorce? And where in the world is Jason? It seems we'll never know. But the real question is: Are you okay with that?
