Things aren’t looking good for John (Kyle Chandler), Meg (Linda Cardellini), and Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) Rayburn in the new Bloodline season 2 trailer. While season 1 of the Emmy-nominated Netflix series revealed the events that led to the death of their brother, Danny (Ben Mendelsohn), the siblings must now keep it together as this secret threatens to tear their lives apart.

As it turns out, their troubled brother can cause just as much damage in the grave. Not only is Danny a spectral form haunting his brother, but we also see in the footage that he gave his drug buddies the ammunition needed to blackmail John, who is trying to keep his fellow cops from learning about that tip he gave Danny in season 1.

On top of that is the arrival of Danny’s son the family never knew existed, while the secret weighs on Meg and Kevin, and forms a bigger wedge between them and their mother (Sissy Spacek). The return of Bloodline also brings a new crop of characters, including John Leguizamo’s Ozzy and Andrea Riseborough’s Evangeline, and the return of Chloe Sevigny’s Chelsea.

Bloodline‘s 10-episode season 2 will debut May 27 on Netflix.
