Friday Night Lights reunion: Connie Britton, Adrianne Palicki share photo from Texas

Connie Britton and Adrianne Palicki are proof of Tim Riggins’ immortal words: Texas forever.

The two Friday Night Light actresses caught up in Austin, Texas — where Palicki’s character, Tyra, eventually went to college. Britton shared a photo of the Dillon High reunion Wednesday.

“Nothing better than reuniting with this one…in Austin,TX no less!” Britton wrote on Instagram. “A friendship that stands the test of time and place. And congrats @adriannepalicki on finishing out a great #Marvel adventure…and all that lie ahead!”

Though their characters left Dillon behind, Britton and Palicki are still neighbors in a sense: They both appear in ABC shows. Britton stars in Nashville, which will see new showrunners if it receives a fifth season. And Palicki just exited Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but is set to star in a spin-off, Marvel’s Most Wanted, which is in contention at ABC.

An official Friday Night Lights reunion is slated for this summer as part of the 2016 Austin-based ATX Television Festival and is set to include a Panther pep rally, live music, photo ops, and more, all on a football field, of course.
