Last season, Fresh Off the Boat revealed Jessica to be a fan of Melrose Place. Now the ABC family comedy is doubling down on her obsession — and bringing in Courtney Thorne-Smith for a guest spot.
The Melrose Place alum will appear in the an upcoming episode of Fresh Off the Boat, EW has learned. In the April 5 installment, titled “Jessica Place,” Jessica (Constance Wu) is distraught when the season of the Fox soap draws to a close, prompting her to seek alternate sources for drama. What happens next? She and Honey (Chelsey Crisp) engage in some snooping and wind up learning a secret about Deidre (Rachel Cannon).
Thorne-Smith starred in According to Jim through most of the aughts and more recently had a recurring role on Two and a Half Men.
