Outlander season 2 fashion: Claire's red dress, plus more intel from costume designer Terry Dresbach

Claire (Caitriona Balfe) is moving on up in the fashion world come season 2 of Outlander, where the character dons an elegant red dress quite different from her usual apparel.

And this won’t be the only time Outlander fans see Claire looking glamorous: People reveals that she’ll will be wearing more dresses like this in the new season, which premieres in April and is set in the 18th century.

” … In the 18th century, a wealthy person would change their clothes multiple times a day, so every time Claire goes somewhere, she has a new gown, every time Jamie goes somewhere, he has a new costume,” costumer designer Terry Dresbach told People.
