Ryan Reynolds was let in on a secret about his Deadpool costar, Leslie Uggams: She had one of the first viral moments ever.

PEOPLE and EW editorial director Jess Cagle clued Reynolds in about the moment during a special EW Radio town hall on SiriusXM.

Years ago, the 72-year-old Uggams performed “June Is Bustin’ Out All Over” on the Washington Mall in a huge live spectacle. But Uggams, who plays Blind Al in the upcoming superhero film, couldn’t quite remember the lyrics. So she filled in with gibberish.

“That is a woman who does not accept failure,” a stunned Reynolds said. “I would have just immediately urinated and had a stroke.

“When people sing the national anthem at baseball games,” he continued, “I’m always like, ‘Oh no, don’t mess this up.'”
