During the awards ceremony, Depp accepted the Desert Palm Achievement Award for his role in Black Mass, while Winslet helped award her Steve Jobs costar Michael Fassbender the International Star Award.

“He walked into the rehearsal room on day 1 looking very nervous, quite honestly, and as though he’d been up half the night worrying,” she said of Fassbender. “I remember we sort of had a hug, and he kind of held me a little bit longer than was normal…but the truth is he didn’t need me to hold him up.”
